Attorney Bruce Castor prevailed in securing a verdict of not guilty while representing T.B. in a
Non-Jury Trial in the Westmoreland County Courthouse on December 19, 2022.
On April 28, 2022, Attorney Thomas Will attended T.B.’s preliminary hearing at which the local
magistrate dismissed all Felony charges and one Misdemeanor charge while sending the
remaining counts to the Court of Common Pleas. This isn’t at all unusual, as the
Commonwealth’s burden of proof is significantly lower at the preliminary hearing than it is at
the trial court level.
After Attorney Castor filed and litigated several pretrial motions, including a motion through
which he successfully advocated for a bond reduction, the parties proceeded to a Non-Jury Trial.
The Court ultimately found T.B. not guilty at all counts.
